1. Introduction

Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri Founded the Minhaj Welfare Foundation (MWF) to Provide every Possible help and assistance to the deprived and destitute classes of society . The main purpose of establishing this organization is to promote feelings of sympathy among people, create an environment conducive to foster mutual love, brotherhood and fraternity and strive for a real Islamic Welfare Society, taking all the sections of society along. To achieve this purpose MWF has embarked on projects in the fields of education, Health and public welfare. It is through these fields of welfare work that the sacred task of serving humanity is being accomplished.

2. Aims & Objectives

The objectives of Aghosh are to provide shelter and good education to orphan, ensure their safe future and to turn them into socially productive human beings.

3. Project

In November 2008 the construction of a permanent purpose built campus for orphans was Started. Aghosh complex has four stories with a basement and a total constructed area is 15, 32, 65 (SFT). The whole project is divided into 34 Blocks and each block consist of 50 units. Aghosh complex is one of the largest of its nature in Pakistan for orphans.

4. Location

This Aghosh, which is situated near Jamia-al-Minhaj on the Shah Jillani Road, Township Lahore.

5. Education

The educational activities of the institution are of great importance. All children are imparted Hifz-e-Quran and school education according to their capacity and temperament. Minhaj Welfare Foundation has established a Aghosh Grammar School for their better education.

MWF Will ensure quality education to 500 orphans along with a quality lifestyle with your support we can continue to provide these children a bright future.

(i) Hifz-e-Quran

After the completion of primary education, children are admitted to Tehfeez-ul-Quran Institution for Hifz-e-Quran in accordance with their potential and taste where they memorize the Holy Quran along with other children.

(ii) Schooling

Along with Hifz-e-Quran, children are also admitted to the Minhaj Model School for getting modern contemporary education. The children get exposed to English, Urdu, Arabic and Scientific subjects according to prevalent syllabus.

6. Extra Coaching

All the children in the world need individual attention for the solution of their educational and psychological problems and polishing their personality. Arrangements for the availability of able tutors have been made to meet this need of children, who solve their educational and psychological problems through individual attention.
