Prize Distribution Ceremony held at Aghosh Complex

Annual prize distribution ceremony of Aghosh Grammar School and parents’ meeting was held under the banner of Aghosh Complex in the month of April 2018. Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, President of MQI, was the guest of honour on the occasion. Khurram Nawaz Gandapur, Syed Amjad Ali Shah, Adnan Javed, Noorullah Siddiqi, renowned social activist and singer Ibrar-ul-Haq, local notables and the parents of the students attended the ceremony.

Addressing the ceremony, Dr Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri said that Kashmir has been deleted from the map of Pakistan, curriculum and geography books. Likewise, the stories having Islamic content have also been deleted from the books, adding that this bitter reality stares us in the face today.

Dr Hussain said that the English medium schools have also excluded Naat in English language from their syllabus. However, he added in the same breath that Naat and other Islamic stories are part of syllabus being taught at the schools and educational institutions under the banner of Minhaj Education Society.

The President of MQI further said that the responsibility of education, and upbringing of the students is being discharged at the Aghosh under the direct supervision of Shaykh-ul-Islam Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri. He said that moral training and character building are the prime areas of focus at the Aghosh. He said that the credit to reviving latent qualities among the students to teachers as well who are investing their time and energies to turn students into confident and well-rounded personalities. He said that this institutions of orphans is emerging as a great role model and the students passing out from here will become productive members of the society.

The children presented various performances on the occasion. Prizes were distributed among the position holders.
