Addressing a Mahfil-e-Milad (pbuh) held at Aghosh (Orphan Care Home) Girls Campus, Chairperson of Aghosh Complex (Girls Campus) Mrs Fizzah Hussain Qadri has said that true and real love of and devotion towards the person of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) means to act upon all of his teachings and make them part and parcel of our lies. Throwing light on why Milad is celebrated and gatherings held for this purpose, she said that it is a way to express our deep devotion to the Holy Prophet (pbuh).

Mrs Fizzah Hussain Qadri further daid that one of the objectives of celebrating Mawlid-un-Nabi (pbuh) is to seek love and closeness of the beloved Prophet (pbuh) and revive the bond of love and reverence with hi (pbuh), adding that this revival is in line with the teachings of Islam, for the person of the Holy Prophet (pbuh) is the basis and pivot of our faith.
