Interfaith harmony need of the hour: Sohail Raza

Sohail Ahmad Raza, Director of Interfaith Relations of MQI, has said that the minorities enjoy all rights in a country of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He said that the Constitution of Pakistan guarantee all freedoms and protects rights of the minorities. The role played by the minorities in the national development cannot be negated, he said.

He said that MQI was working hard to promote interfaith dialogue and harmony in the world and building bridges between different communities and the followers of different faiths. He said that the vision of Dr Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is characterized by promotion of love, peace and harmony and the entire world has acknowledged his contributions.

He addressing a Christmas ceremony in Samanabad today. He said that dialogue was the only way forward to build trust and remove misunderstandings if any. He underlined the need of highlighting the true Islamic teachings.
