Deputy Chairman Board of Governors, Professor Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri, graced the Minhaj University Lahore Annual Sports Festival 2024-25 Closing and Prize Distribution Ceremony, held on March 11, 2025.

This grand event saw the participation of over 15,000 students and staff from 33 departments in more than 25 sports, making it one of the largest and most dynamic sports festivals on campus.

Vice Chancellor Professor Dr. Sajid Mehmood Shahzad also attended the ceremony. Special appreciation was extended to the Directorate of Sports, coaches, referees, and sports in-charges for organizing the event smoothly and fairly.

In his closing address, Dr. Hussain Mohi-ud-Din Qadri emphasized that sports are an essential component of education and play a vital role in students’ overall development.

1. Overall Boys Champion: Department of Islamic Studies (612 points)
2. Overall Girls Champion: Department of Computer Science (860 points)
3. Overall Champion: Department of Computer Science (1441 points)
   

Souvenirs were also presented to guests and sports in-charges in recognition of their contributions.
